Kanha Rakhi
Inspired by the colours and quiet beauty of a peacock feather, the Kanha Rakhi is a tiny piece of art made slowly and carefully by hand.
Look closely and you’ll see the little details- the deep blues and greens, the delicate impression of the peacock eye, the tiny stones, pearls and beads, each individually placed and finished by the artist and there is something especially important about that peacock feather.
It isn’t a real feather. We wanted to celebrate its beauty without taking anything away from the beautiful bird it belongs to. Our festivals are celebrations of love, life and togetherness — and we believe that love should extend to the creatures who share this world with us too.
