In this book, we follow the early life of Ram Chandra of Shahjahanpur, India, known to seekers everywhere as Babuji.
As a young child, Babuji always felt a deep longing for Reality. On the 3rd of June 1922 he met Lalaji. "When I sat in meditation, as I was directed to, I found a condition highly convincing to me. Immediately the thought arose, ‘I have found the Master’.”
Thus began Babuji’s life of unswerving dedication to his Master who encouraged Babuji to write his experiences in a journal. Excerpts appear in this book, along with letters between the Master and his disciple, and later commentaries which expand on his experiences and revelations on the path, giving us an honest and authentic example of unbiased inner research.
Here we have a love story of a devoted disciple who went on to establish the Sahaj Marg system of meditation, and Shri Ram Chandra Mission under the direct guidance of Lalaji and other saints.
It is also an inspiring story of a humble man’s spiritual journey to the Ultimate, while living an everyday existence with family and employment.
